Treatment of: Onset of Erectile Dysfunction: Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a term commonly used to describe the initial period when a man cannot get and keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse. Treatment of Erectile Dysfunction: The most common type of ED is erectile dysfunction, which causes a man to only need stimulation for sexual activity. Treatment of Erectile Dysfunction in Men: The treatment of erectile dysfunction in men is as follows: Treatment of Erectile Dysfunction in men may include psychological counseling, medical therapy, and lifestyle changes. Treatment of Erectile Dysfunction may also include psychological counseling, behavioral changes, and sexual dysfunction therapy.Administration:May be taken with or without food. May be taken with or without fluids. The usual dose of tadalafil (Cialis®) is one tablet taken every 4 to 6 hours with or without food. Cialis may be taken with or without food. Cialis (Tadalafil) is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It works by helping a man get and maintain an erection while having sex. A man who is unable to get an erection firm enough for sexual activity may use tadalafil (Cialis®) alone or in combination with another PDE5 inhibitor, like sildenafil (Viagra®), tadalafil (Cialis®), and vardenafil (Levitra®). Levitra® is a PDE5 inhibitor. Use of Tadalafil (Cialis®) Tablet: The use of tadalafil (Cialis®) Tablet is to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It works by helping the blood vessels in your penis to relax, allowing blood to flow into your penis when you get sexually excited. Avoid taking it if you have certain medical conditions, such as low blood pressure, heart failure, or liver problems. It is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) or high blood pressure in the lungs. If you have PAH or high blood pressure, taking Cialis (Tadalafil) Tablet may help lower the blood pressure in your lungs. The recommended dose of tadalafil (Cialis®) for the treatment of erectile dysfunction is one tablet a day. Cialis (Tadalafil) Tablet is taken only when needed, about an hour before sexual activity. Cialis is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. Avoid taking it if you have PAH or high blood pressure. Side Effects of Tadalafil (Cialis®) Tablet: Common Side Effects of Tadalafil (Cialis®) Tablet are similar to those of other PDE5 inhibitors. Common side effects of tadalafil (Cialis®) include headache, flushing, and stuffy or runny nose. More Serious Side Effects: If you experience a severe side effect such as sudden vision loss, hearing loss, chest pain, or chest pain, seek immediate medical attention. More serious side effects of tadalafil (Cialis®) Tablet, such as priapism (a long lasting erection that does not go away) or sudden hearing loss, may require immediate medical attention. The safety of taking tadalafil (Cialis®) Tablet has not been established in patients with heart problems, liver or kidney impairment, or those taking certain other medications that may cause drowsiness. Tadalafil (Cialis®) Tablet is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under the age of 18.Drug Interactions:Cialis (Tadalafil) Tablet can interact with various medications. Tadalafil (Cialis®) Tablet can be used with or without food. If you are using tadalafil (Cialis®) Tablet and have high blood pressure, you may be advised to stop taking the medication. If you experience any side effects of taking tadalafil (Cialis®) Tablet, such as difficulty breathing, rapid heartbeat, or increased sweating, seek immediate medical attention. Tadalafil tablets are used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and to reduce the risk of priapism, a prolonged and painful erection caused by insufficient blood flow to the penis. This medication can also be used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which is a medical condition in which the prostate gland becomes enlarged and painful. Tadalafil works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, allowing the blood to flow into the penis when sexually aroused. It is not intended for use by men over the age of 18. Tadalafil is available as a prescription medicine for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It is important to follow the instructions provided by your doctor and to take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor. If you have any doubts about the correct dosage and administration of tadalafil, consult your doctor or pharmacist. You should not use this medicine without consulting your doctor, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Take tadalafil exactly as directed by your doctor. Take tadalafil at the same time each day to maintain its effectiveness. Do not take tadalafil more often than once a day. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but do not take the next dose at the same time unless it has been prescribed by your doctor. Do not double the dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Take tadalafil regularly as directed by your doctor. Do not use this medicine in children and adolescents under the age of 18. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from any of the following: heart problems; low blood pressure; chest pain; vision problems; irregular heartbeat; severe stomach/abdominal pain; high blood pressure; hearing loss; low white blood cell count; low platelet count; low white blood cell count; heart rhythm disorders; low white blood cell count, including a condition called priapism; kidney disease; and have a bleeding disorder. Tadalafil may cause dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, or changes in hearing or balance. Do not drive or use machines if you have these symptoms. Avoid or limit alcohol consumption while taking tadalafil. Do not stop taking tadalafil without consulting your doctor. Avoid or limit the consumption of grapefruit or grapefruit juice while taking tadalafil. Do not drink alcohol while taking tadalafil. If you have any questions about the safety of tadalafil, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
It does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases like HIV. The medication is not intended for use by women or children. It is also not suitable for use by men under the age of 18. Tadalafil is available in tablet form, and it is taken orally. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets. The tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of water. Tadalafil should be taken 1 to 3 hours before sexual activity. Do not take tadalafil more than once a day. Tadalafil tablets are available in the following strengths: 5mg, 10mg, 20mg, 40mg, and 80mg.
1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:
Taking Prazosin and Prazosin Oxidative DehydroAtorrhoea can combine to create the powerful combination Cialis + Prazosin Oxidative DehydroAtorrhoea. This combination can cause symptoms like dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals, resulting in a lower dosage of tadalafil.
Taking Cialis + Prazosin Oxidative DehydroAtorrhoea can also create a new isoform of tadalafil, which offers a new option to managing symptoms associated with Prazosin + Prazosin oxidized diabetes. This isoform consisted of a tadalafil analog and a prazosin derivative.
Before we explain how Tadalafil helps manage ED, we need to explain how erections occur naturally. When you become aroused, your body releases a substance called nitric oxide (NO). In turn, levels of a chemical known as cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) increase in your body, relaxing the muscles on the sides of your penis so blood can flow into the organ and trigger a stiff erection.
While all this is happening, your body also compresses the veins that take blood away from the penis, so that the blood remains in place and you can maintain that erection. Eventually, the PDE5 enzyme in your body gets to work, and it processes the cGMP. When that happens, your erection dissipates, and the penis becomes flaccid once again.
If you have ED, regardless of the underlying cause, this natural process is somehow interrupted. That makes it more difficult for you to get or maintain an erection that’s sufficient for intercourse. And that’s where Tadalafil, a PDE5 inhibitor, can help. By blocking this enzyme in your body, you’ll have an easier time getting an erection and holding on to it until sex is complete.
How Tadalafil Suppresses ErectionsTadalafil works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, and this allows more blood to go into the penis and make it easier to get an erection. That’s important because when you become aroused, the penis fills with blood and your body releases a substance called nitric oxide (NO).
The level of cGMP in the penis is then reduced. This allows more blood to flow into the penis, and that’s often necessary for an erection.
If you have the PDE5 enzyme in your body, this reduces the cGMP level in the Penis.
The body then compresses the veins that take blood away from the Penis, and this allows more blood to flow in and make it easier to get an erection.
And that’s just the beginning. And as you would a whole other substance, the PDE5 enzyme. That’s where Tadalafil comes into the picture.
What the PDE5is Do When Tadalafil’s Link to EDThe PDE5 enzyme is a family of enzyme proteins that break down cGMP. That means that when the cGMP is too little to be processed, it’s too much available in the body, so that the blood doesn’t flow easily out of the body.
When the cGMP is too much, it can lead to an already stiff, inflamed, achesomembrated erection that doesn’t go away. The more blood that's retained, the more points of constriction. That’s where Tadalafil can help.
If that constricting effect happens too quickly, there’s a chance that your erection might only stay still for a brief moment, causing a shorter, stiff, or even a noose to form. And that’s where this can help.
That’s where Tadalafil comes in.
When that happens too quickly, there’s a chance that your erection might only stay still for a brief moment, causing a shorter, stiff, or even a noose to form.
That’s when you’re ready to have sex.
And that’s when you’re ready to have sex.
